Current Weather Conditions on 18th March 2017

As had been forecast on 12th March 2017 the Maximum and Minimum Temperatures started to increase from 13th/14th when it rose to near normal. Subsequently from 15th on wards the Maximum and Minimum Temperature have risen further and weather has started getting hotter along with rise in normal Maximum & Minimum Temperature for this time of the year over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch.

Rajkot Maximum is 37.3 ºC is 1 ºC above normal while the Minimum is 22.1 ºC is 2 ºC above normal.

Bhuj Maximum is 36.8 ºC is 1 ºC above normal while the Minimum is 21.4 ºC is 2 ºC above normal.

Ahmedabad Maximum is 35.9 ºC is 1 ºC below normal while the Minimum is 22.5 ºC is 2 ºC above normal.

 

Surat Maximum is 35.2 ºC is 1 ºC below normal while the Minimum is 22.1 ºC is normal.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch:

Maximum Temperature will be above normal on 18th/19th March. The Maximum Temperature will start to increase further from 20th March and for the five days period 21st to 25th march the Maximum temperature is expected to rise further and will reach or cross 40 ºC at some parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. Heat Wave conditions expected in few pockets of the above regions during this period.
