Current Weather Conditions Dated 24th February 2017

Very hot weather prevailed over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch from 17th to 19th February when the Maximum Temperature had reached up to 39 C on 18th February at Rajkot being 7 C above normal, however, missed the Heat Wave criteria by 1 C. The Maximum & Minimum Temperature has been near normal from 21st February 2017.
Ahmedabad Maximum 33.2 C which was +2 C above normal while Minimum Temperature was 15.6 C which was +1 C above normal.

Rajkot Maximum 33.0 C which was +1 C above normal while Minimum Temperature was 15.4 C which was -1 C above normal.

The Temperature is expected to increase again from afternoon and remain above normal between 35 to 38 C for rest of February 2017. It is expected to decrease thereafter and will move towards normal between 32 to 34 C by 3rd March 2017.
