Current Weather Conditions on 22nd August 2016
The Low Pressure area over East Rajasthan & neighborhood persists. The Associated Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level also persists.
The Well Marked Low Pressure area is now over Jharkhand & neighborhood. The Associated Upper Air Cyclonic circulation extending up to 7.6
Km above mean sea levels tilting Southwards with height.
The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level, now passes through Phalodi, center of Low Pressure area over East Rajasthan & neighborhood, Satna, Center of Well Marked Low Pressure area over Jharkhand & neighborhood, Diamond Harbor and thence East Southeastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal.
Forecast: 22nd August to 27th August 2016
50% of Saurashtra : Scattered light to medium rain total during the forecast period.
Rest 50% of Saurashtra : Light to medium up to heavy rain total during the forecast period.
Kutch : Light to medium up to heavy rain total during the forecast period.
North Gujarat & East Central Gujarat : Medium to heavy rain total with some very heavy rain total during the forecast period.
South Gujarat : Light to medium and even up to heavy rain total during the forecast period.
Note: ECMWF forecast model shows likelyhood of more quantum of rainfall for Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch during 24-26th August due to the new Well Marked Low Pressure System now over Jharkhand & neighborhood, however, GFS differs and forecasts lower quantum. Hence the situation has to be monitored next on or two days.

ઉત્તર ગુજરાત અને માધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત : આગાહી સમય દર્મિયાન નો કૂલ વરસાદ મધ્યમ થી ભારે સુધી ની માત્રા ની શક્યતા છે અને ક્યાંક ક્યાંક અતિ ભારે સુધી ની માત્રા ની શક્યતા છે.
દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત : આગાહી સમય દર્મિયાન નો કૂલ વરસાદ હળવો થી મધ્યમ થી ભારે સુધી ની માત્રા ની શક્યતા છે.
નોંધ: ECMWF ફોરકાસ્ટ મોડલ અને GFS ફોરકાસ્ટ મોડલ માં હજુ વરસાદ ની માત્રા બાબતે મતમત્તાન્તર છે એટલે 24/48 કલાક હજુ રાખોલુ રાખવું પડે.

5. “મારા શહેર, કે ગામ માં વરસાદ ક્યારે થશે ?” તેવા સવાલ પૂછવા નહિ. સામાન્ય રીતે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના બહોળા વિસ્તારો ની આગાહી આપેલ હોઈ છે. તમારા વિસ્તાર ના મોટા સેન્ટર માટે વંડરગ્રાઉન્ડ ની આગાહી ની લિન્ક આપેલ છે અહીં મેનુ માં.
