Current Weather Conditions on 8th August 2016

 

The  Bay of Bengal Low Pressure has tracked to over Northeast Madhya Pradesh &  neighborhood on 6th August has now tracked to East Rajasthan/Northwest Madhya Pradesh. The associated Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 7.6 Km above mean sea level.

The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through  Bikaner, Jaipur, Center of Low Pressure area over East Rajashan & Northwest Madhya Pradesh, Sidhi, Daltonganj, Jamshedpur, Digha and thence Southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and extends up to 1.5 Km above mean sea level.

The UAC over South Pakistan, Kutch & adjoining Southwest Rajasthan is now over South Pakistan and adjoining Northeast Arabian Sea.

The weak off-­shore trough at mean sea level runs from  Gujarat coast  to Karnataka coast.

Forecast: 8th August to 10 August 2016

North Gujarat : East Rajasthan/ Northwest Madhya Pradesh System dependent medium heavy rain with some areas very heavy rain will occur during the forecast period.

Eastcentral Gujarat : East Rajasthan/ Northwest Madhya Pradesh System dependent light, medium rain with some areas heavy rain will occur during the forecast period. However, the rain coverage will be scattered.

South Gujarat: Light, medium rain with occasional heavy rain.

Saurashtra: Due to the effects of the System over East Rajasthan/ Northwest Madhya Pradesh, moisture incursion will take place from Arabian Sea giving light to medium rain and 25% area receiving heavy rain during the forecast period.

Kutch: Different areas will get light, medium and heavy rain during the forecast period.

મધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત: તારીખ 8 થી 10 ઓગસ્ટ દરમિયાન રાજસ્થાન/એમપી સિસ્ટમ આધારિત હળવો, મધ્યમ અને ક્યારેક ભારે વરસાદ. વિસ્તાર ઓછા વધતો રહેશે.

દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત: તારીખ 8 થી 10 ઓગસ્ટ દરમિયાન હળવો, મધ્યમ અને ક્યારેક ભારે વરસાદ.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર: તારીખ 8 થી 10 ઓગસ્ટ દરમિયાન સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માં રાજસ્થાન/એમપી સિસ્ટમ ને હિસાબે અરબી સમુદ્ર ના ભેજ યુક્ત પવનો સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ઉપર થી ફૂંકાવા ને હિસાબે હળવો, મધ્યમ વરસાદ અને 25 % વિસ્તાર માં ભારે વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે.

કચ્છ: તારીખ 8 થી 10 ઓગસ્ટ દરમિયાન કચ્છ ના અલગ અલગ વિસ્તાર માં હળવો, મધ્યમ અને ભારે વરસાદ પડશે.
