Current Weather Conditions on 18th April 2016

Although there has been an increase in Maximum Temperature during the last week, the Maximum Temperature is near normal over most centers of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch because the normal Maximum for most places has also gone up by 1 C. The winds were mainly from West & Northwest during the last one week with morning humidity on most days of last week.

Forecast:

The Hot Weather Centers will be in Eastern India over Odisha, West Bengal, Central India over Chhatishgarh, East M.P. & Vidarbha and South India over Andhra Pradesh Telangana, and some areas of U.P., Jharkhand. The Hot weather area is expected on 19th to 22nd and on 23rd April the Hot areas will be limited to only East Indian States. Hot centers Maximum Temperature will be in the range of 43 to 46/47 C. during 19th to 23rd April 2016 and decrease by a couple of Degrees on 24th April 2016.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 18th April to 24th April 2016

Maximum Temperature will remain near normal to a little above normal on 18th, 19th, 20th & 22nd April 2016 and increase by 1 to 2 C on 21st April 2016 over most centers of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. Temperature will be between 39 to 41 C over hot centers on most days and could be a little higher and could cross 41 C on 21st April. The winds will be mainly from West during the forecast period and morning humidity will continue to remain high till end of forecast period.
