Forecast:

Initially the Hot Weather Centers will be in Eastern India, Central India and adjoining Andhra Pradesh. The Hot weather area is expected to spread over many States of India from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhatishgarh, East M.P. & East U.P., Jharkhand, Bihar, Vidarbha and nearby areas of all these regions during 15th to 17th April 2016. Hot centers Maximum Temperature will be in the range of 42 C to 45 C which will go up to 43 to 46/47 C. during 15th to 17th April 2016.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 11th April to 17th April 2016

Maximum Temperature will remain near normal to a little above normal for next two three days and then increase by 1 to 2 C during latter parts of the forecast period over most centers of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. Temperature will be between 38 to 40 C over hot centers and is expected to increase to 39 to 41 C. during the latter parts of forecast period over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat with a day or two the Maximum Temperature could cross 41 C. The winds will be mainly from West and Northwest during the forecast period and morning humidity will continue to remain high till end of forecast period.
