A Low Pressure area has developed over West Central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts along with Associated Cyclonic Circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea levels.
The Western end of Axis of Monsoon trough continues to run close to the foothills of Himalayas and Eastern end passes through Gorakhpur, Gaya, Jamshedpur and thence South-Southeastwards to the Center of Low Pressure area over West Central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts.

Wait for good rain will continue during the forecast period since no meaningful rainfall is forecast for Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat from 27th to 31st August. Scattered showers/light rain over parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat on some days. This Low Pressure is not expected to benefit Saurashtra & Kutch. Parts of Gujarat bordering West M.P. and Maharashtra has a 50% chance of getting some benefit of light/medium rain on a day or two but is yet uncertain. Maximum benefit would be for M.P. & Maharashtra. COLA/IGES maps are given for three days showing possible areas of scattered showers/rain if any.

બંગાળ ની ખાડી માં એક લો પ્રેસ્સર વિસ્તાર સર્જાયેલ છે જે દક્ષીણ ઓડીશા અને ઊત્તર આંધ્ર ના દરિયા કિનારા નજીક છે. તેના અનૂસંગિક UAC 7.6 કિમી ની ઊંચાઈ સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે.
હવે ચોમાસું ધરી નો પશ્ચિમ છેડો હિમાલય ની તળેટી માં છે અને પૂર્વ બાજુ ગોરખપુર, ગયા, જમશેદપુર, અને ત્યાંથી દક્ષીણ દક્ષીણ પૂર્વ બાજુ બંગાળ ની ખાડી ના લો પ્રેસર તરફ લંબાય છે.
પશ્ચિમ પ્રશાંત મહાસાગર માં બે વાવાઝોડા હતા તે ખતમ થયા છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં સાર્વત્રિક સારા વરસાદ ની રાહ જોવા નું ચાલુ રહેશે. તારીખ 27 થી 31 દરમ્યાન અંશત વાદળ છાયું વાતાવરણ. આગાહી સમય ગળાના અમૂક દિવસો માં કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ છુટ્ટા છવાયા ઝાપટા.
આ લો પ્રેસરથી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કોઈ ફાયદો થાય એવું લાગતું નથી. એમ પી અને મહારાષ્ટ્ર માં ફાયદો રહેશે. પશ્ચિમ એમ. પી. અને મહારાષ્ટ્ર બોર્ડેર ના લાગુ ગુજરાત વિસ્તાર ને થોડો ઘણો ફાયદો થાય તેવી 50% શક્યતા છે. જે આવતા એક બે દિવસ માં ખ્યાલ આવશે.
લો પ્રેસર બાબતે આવતા એક બે દિવસ માં વધુ ખ્યાલ આવશે કોઈ ફેર ફાર થાય છે કે નહિ.
