Current Weather Conditions on 20th June 2015

 

The Well Marked Low Pressure area over the North West Bay Of Bengal off the South Odisha coast had strengthened to a Depression this morning and lay at 18.0 N. 86.0E about 200 Kms. South of Puri. It is expected to cross over inland over Odisha by tonight.

 There is a differing outcome to the Arabian Sea System by two main forecast models, the GFS & ECMWF. Since both have very different outcome for the Arabian Sea System, some more forecast run have to be watched before giving a forecast with confidence. Update will be given as and when some clarity is sought on Arabian Sea System.
