Current Weather Conditions on 5th August 2014 @11.00 pm.

The Depression had strengthened to a Deep Depression over Jharkhand yesterday and has tracked mainly Westwards over North Chhatishgarh and weakened back to a Depression. Currently the System is located over East Madhya Pradesh and vicinity and is expected to track West ­Northwesterly direction during next 24 hours towards North Madhya Pradesh & East Rajasthan.

The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Ferozepur, Delhi, Gwalior Center of Depression, Balasore and thence Southeastwards to North Andaman sea. It also extends up to 2.1 Kms. above sea level.

The Off-shore trough at mean sea level from South Gujarat coast to Kerala Coast persists.

Forecast: 5th August to 8th August 2014

The Depression is expected to track West Northwest direction and may weaken to a Well Marked Low Pressure by 6th August. This System will reach North Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan border area by 7th August. System is being monitored for any track change if any during the next 48 hours.

Saurashtra, Kutch :

Scattered light to medium rainfall possible during the forecast period till 7th/8th  August.  Gujarat is expected to receive more rain than Saurashtra from this System.

Gujarat:

South Gujarat:

South Gujarat will receive medium rainfall with some isolated heavy rainfall during the forecast period due to the Off-shore trough.

Central & North Gujarat:
Cetral Gujarat and North Gujarat will receive medium rainfall with some isolated heavy rainfall till 7th.

તારીખ ૫ થી ૮ દરમ્યાન છૂટો છવાયો હળવો મધ્યમ વરસાદ પડશે. કોઈ કોઈ કાંઠા ના વિસ્તાર માં

મધ્યમ/ભારે પડી શકે. મૂખ્ય વરસાદ ૬ અને ૭ તારીખ માં પડશે.

ઊત્તર ગુજરાત અને મધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત:

પૂર્વ રાજસ્થાન અને પશ્ચિમ મધ્ય પ્રદેશ ને લાગુ ગુજરાત ના વિસ્તાર માં આ સિસ્ટમ ની અસર વધુ
જોવા મળશે. તારીખ ૫ થી ૭ દરમ્યાન ઊત્તર ગુજરાત અને મધ્ય પૂર્વ ગુજરાત માં મધ્યમ/ભારે વરસાદ પડશે.
