Normal should be Max. 32 and Min. 16 Degrees for Rajkot.
There is a Western Disturbance over North India. Light rain has occured over parts of North India with snowfall over hilly regions.
There is a Low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal at 5N. 91E. with wind speeds of 50 Kms./Hour and 1004 Mb. pressure.
Forecast:
Saurashtra the Temperatures will remain mainly in the near normal range for the next few days. There is possibility of fog due to Westerly winds on Wednesday/Thursday.

Current Weather Conditions on 17th November 2009 @ 10.00 am.
The weather over Saurashtra has remained mainly clear and the daytime Temperatures have increased by a few Degrees during the last two days. The nighttime Temperature is on decreasing trend but at a slow pace. The Minimum Temperature for Rajkot has been near normal to slightly above normal at about 17 to 19 Degrees.
The Low pressure area from South India has tracked from 4N. 80E. along the Kerala Karnataka Coast and fizzled out. However, the convective clouds associated have given good rainfall along the Western Peninsula and currently raining over Southern Maharashtra. the rain belt runs from South Maharashtra North Eastwards towards Chhatisgarh and Bihar.
No significant climate or weather event expected for the next few days for whole of Gujarat and Saurashtra as well as most parts of India.

A Low Pressure area has developed between 4N to 6N South of Indian Peninsula and Shri Lanka.
Forecast:

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Saurashtra, Gujarat and nearby Arabian Sea as well as Rajasthan. The sky is partly cloudy and Temperatures are below normal.
Forecast: There is a chance of scattered showers/ rain over Saurashtra, Gujarat And Rajasthan due to this unsettled weather conditions for 3th and 14th November. The Daytime Temperatures are expected to be about 4 to 6 Degrees below normal and night time Temperatures will be near normal. The weather is expected to clear out by 15th November and the Daytime Temperature is expected to increase by about 3 to 4 Degrees.
Snow and Rain is forecast for Jammu & Kashmir for 13th and 14th November.

Current Weather Conditions on 12th November 2009 @ 9.30am.
Cyclone "PHYAN" crossed the Maharashtra Coast about 50 Kms. South of Mumbai on 11th November afternoon between 1 pm. and 2 pm. and tracked North North Easterly direction and has weakened. It tracked over to West Madhya Pradesh last night around 10 pm. and this morning the remains of this system is located in a broad area over Uttar Pradesh.
Forecast: North India will get light to moderate rain.
Maharashtra, Gujarat, Saurashtra can get Isolated, scattered, scanty and or light showers from the remains of convetive clouds associated with Cyclone "PHYAN". No chance of significant rainfall for these areas.
Daytime Temperatures in Saurashtra will be below normal by 3 to 4 Degrees while the Night Temperatures will be slightly above normal during next two days. The Normal Max. & Min. Temperature for Rajkot at this time of the year is 34.5 Degees and 17.5 Degrees respectively.

NRL is showing that "PHYAN" has weekened a little by 10 Kms./Hour and is very close to Maharashtra coast. Very Heavy rains for Mumbai,Konkan Area and South Gujarat.
