Tropical Cyclone 05A in The Arabian Sea & BOB08 Depression Along Andhra Coast 
Current Weather Conditions on 29th October 2007 @ 1.00 pm.

There is a Tropical Cyclone 05A.NONAME in the Arabian Sea @ 11.3 N 66.3 E. located around 900 Kms. west of Karnataka Coast. The Cyclone is expected to move in West North Weswards direction. The pressure is 993 mb. with wind speeds of 75 Kms/Hour.


There is also a Depression coming from the Bay of Bengal along the Andhra Coast with wind speeds of 45 to 50 Kms/Hour. The pressure is 1004 mb. It is expected to move in West North Westwards direction. The Depression has given very heavy rains to Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh as per forecast dated 25-10-07. The rains are expected to continue for two more days.

29th October to 2nd November: The weather over Saurashtra is expected to be mostly clear during the forecast period. Maximum Temperatures of 34 to 36 Degrees C. and Minimum Temperature of 20 to 23 degrees C. is expected for Rajkot during the next few days.

The North East Monsoon has set over Tamilnadu and many parts of South India. There will be very heavy rains for the next few days.

25th October to 31st October: The weather over Saurashtra is expected to be partly cloudy during the forecast period. Maximum Temperatures of 34 to 35 Degrees C. and Minimum Temperature of 20 to 23 degrees C. is expected for Rajkot during the next few days.

Weather Forecast Rest of India

25th October to 31st October: Heavy rains of 10 Cms. to 15 Cms is expected for Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the forecast period with more than 20 Cms. of rain in Isolated places. Interior Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka will receive 5 Cms to 10 Cms. of rain during the forecast period. Maharashtra will get 3 to 5 Cms. of rain during the forecast period.

North East Monsoon To Start Over Tamilnadu Within 24 Hours 
Current Weather Conditions on 20th October 2007 @ 12.00 pm.

The South West Monsoon has withdrawn from Maharashtra. The line of withdrawal now passes over Goa. Yet Goa is expected to receive good rains during the next two days.

There are signs of North East Monsoon setting over Tamilnadu within 24 hours. There will be moderate rains initially with very heavy rains expected around 25th October.

Current Weather Conditions on 16th October 2007 @ 12.00 noon

The weather over Saurashtra is expected mostly sunny for next few days. The winds are in transition to North East winter winds for few hours a day. The Maximum Temperature at Rajkot is expected to be around 35 Deg. C. for the next few days with Minimum Temperature around 24 Deg. C.

Heavy rains are expected during next two days for North Eastern States due to a Low Pressure now over Bangla Desh and neighbourhood.

Low Pressure Formed In BOB Near Coastal Bangla Desh - Myanmar Border 
Current Weather Conditions on 7th October 2007 @ 1.00 pm.

A Low Pressure has formed in the East Bay of Bengal from the remains of Cyclone "Lekima" coming from Vietnam. The location of the Low Pressure as indicated yesterday is in neighbourhood South of Bangla Desh. The current location of Low Pressure is near the Coastal Bangladesh - Myanmar border. This will give heavy rains to the North Eastern States during the next few days.

Rain Activity To Shift To North Eastern States 
Current Weather Conditions on 6th October 2007 @ 11.00 am.

The Low Pressure in the Bay of Bengal off Orissa coast is likely to merge with the remains of Cyclone "Lekima" coming from Vietnam. The location of the Low Pressure in the Bay of Bengal expected to shift to the neighbourhood South of Bangla Desh. This will give heavy rains to the North Eastern States during the next few days.

6th October to 10th October: The weather over Saurashtra is expected to remain clear during the day and chances of dew in early morning. There are chances for cloudy weather on 11th and 12th October over Saurashtra.

6th October to 10th October: Heavy rains of 15 Cms. to 20 Cms is expected over the North Eastern States during the forecast period. Interior Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka will receive upto 5 Cms. of rain while Orissa will get 5 Cms. to 10 Cms. of rain during the forecast period.
