The Maximum Temperatures have been around 40 to 42 Degrees C. for last few days and Minimum Temperatures have also been high at around 20 to 23 Degrees in most parts of Saurashtra. The winds are blowing mainly from the West.
Forecast:
The Temperatures are expected to increase once again over Saurashtra & Gujarat during this week with Severe Heat Wave conditions for most parts of Saurashtra & Gujarat on 14th/15th/16th April. Expect Maximum Temperature between 44 to 45 Degrees C. in many parts of the region. Some places in Ahmedabad, Amreli, Bhavnagar & Surendranagar Districts could get Maximum Temperatures above 45 Degrees C.. Normal Maximum Temperatures at this time of the year for Rajkot is 38 and Minimum is 21 Degrees C. Maximum Temperatures at Rajkot is expected to go up to between 43 & 44 Degrees.
North Gujarat, Central Madhya Pradesh, some parts of North India, U.P., Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhatishgarh, Vidarbha, North Andhra, Orissa and will experience Severe Heat Wave this week.

The Maximum Temperatures have been around 37 to 40 Degrees C. for last few days and Minimum Temperatures have also been high at around 19 to 22 Degrees in most parts of Saurashtra. The winds are mainly from the West and with medium Humidity in mornings.
Forecast:
The Temperatures are expected to increase again over Saurashtra & Gujarat during this week and the winds will be mainly from West and sometimes from North West. Temperatures over Saurashtra & Gujarat are expected to go up to between 40 to 42 Degrees C. on Tuesday and Severe Heat Wave conditions are expected in some parts of Saurashtra/Gujarat by Thursday 8th April. Highest Temperature between 43 to 44 Degrees C. could be recorded in area Ahmedabad, Amreli, Bhavnagar & Surendranagar Districts. Normal Maximum Temperatures at this time of the year for Rajkot is 37.5 and Minimum is 20 Degrees C. Rajkot is expected to go up to 42 Degrees.
Temperatures over most parts of the mainland India is expected to be above normal

The Maximum Temperatures over Saurashtra & Gujarat have decreased to 38 to 39 Degrees C. during the last few days as had been forecast on 19th March.
Forecast: 27th March to 2nd. April 2010
Saurashtra & Gujarat:
The Maximum Temperatures are expected to be remain between 38 to 39 Degrees C. till Monday and then decrease a little to between 36 to 38 Degree C. range for the rest of the Forecast period. The wind are and will blow from the West and Humidity will increase in the later part of the week.
North eastern States of India:
Heavy rains are forecast for the North Eastern States of India during 27th March to 2nd. April 2010. Most of the North Eastern States such as Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal & Meghalay will receive between 10 Cms. to 15 Cms. of rain during the forecast period.
