The western disturbance is coming over from Pakistan. The weather in Saurashtra has been warmer than usual for last two days. The Temperatures are few degrees above normal for this time of the year.

The Minimum & Maximum Temperature in Saurashtra is expected to come down from Friday 18th January and Cold wave is expected from 19th till 21st January. Minimum Temperatures at some places in Saurashtra could go down below 10 degrees C.
Weather Forecast North India:
Western Distarbance will approach over North India today and is expected to give Rains and Snowfalls from tonight and is expected to continue till 21st January. J & K, Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal Pradesh will get 2 to 5 Inches of Rain in the plains and about 3 to 6 feet of Snowfall in the Hilly regions of these areas. The Heaviest Rains/Snowfalls are expected on 17th/18th January.

The Temperatures in Saurashtra had gone down for last two days. However, the Temperatures are expected to again increase from Monday.

The Minimum & Maximum Temperature in Saurashtra is expected to increase from Monday. The daytime Temperature is expected to increase from Monday till Wednesday by 3 Degrees C. and the Night-time Temperature will also increase and is expected to be above normal at this time of the year.
The sky is expected to be party cloudy for the next few days.

Current Weather Conditions on 7thd January 2008 @ 2.00 pm.
There has been Rain/Snowfall over most parts of J & K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttranchal Pradesh. Many roads have been blocked due to Snofall/Landslides.
The cold wave over Saurashtra has abated. The Temperatures are few degrees above normal for this time of the year.

The Minimum & Maximum Temperature in Saurashtra is expected to remain above normal till 9th January. The day time Temperature is expected to again decrease gradulally from 10th January onward.
Weather Forecast North India:
Western Distarbance has approach over North India and is expected to continue till 10th January. Rains/Snowfall is expected to continue over J & K, Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal till 10th January with heavy falls on 8th and 9th January.
Rajastan is expected to get light Rains on 8th/9th January and Uttar Pradesh will get light Rains on 9th/10th January.

There has been a cold wave thoughout most parts of North India and Saurashtra/Gujarat. The Minimum Temperatures in Saurashtra are about 2 to 4 Degrees below normal at this time of the year.

The Minimum & Maximum Temperature in Saurashtra is expected to increase gradually by about 2 to 4 Degrees and the daytime Maximum Temperature will also increase similarly by 4th/5th January ending the cold wave in Saurashtra.

There is a cold wave in North India and Minimum Temperatures are 2 to 4 Degrees below normal for this time of the year. Western Distarbance is expected to approach by 4th January. Rains will start over J & K, Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal by 5th January and snowfall for hilly regions. Rain/snow expected to continue over these areas from 5th till 7th January.

The Low Pressure in the Arabian sea has now reached the Oman Coast and fizzled out. One of its swirl had covered parts of Saurashtra, Kutch and Rajastan on 22nd. & 23rd. giving cloudy sky for two days. Rajastan will have more cloudy days.

Current Weather Conditions on 21st December 2007 @ 4.30 pm.
The convetive system East of Tamilnadu and South Andhra Coast gave heavy rains for Tamilnadu and has now crossed over to Arabian Sea. Currently the Cyclonic Circulation is located at 12 N and 69 E. It is expected to move in the North Westards direction. However, one of its swirl is expected to hit Western Saurashtra & Kutch on Sunday.
Weather Forecast Rajkot, Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:
The Minimum & Maximum Temperature in Saurashtra has again become 2 degrees above normal. It is expected to be above normal till Saturday. On Saturday it is expected to be partly cloudy because the swirl of the Cyclonic Circulation is expected to reach Western Saurashtra Coast. On Sunday the sky is expected to be cloudy with day time Temperature very much below normal for the whole day with a possibility of scatttered showers over Saurashtra & Kutch. Incidentaly Gujarat Election Vote Counting is also on Sunday!
